First of all let us be upfront with you, unlike many other sites we have no affiliates links anywhere on Should Pay. So who do Should Pay recommend for your car breakdown cover....... Green Flag. Green flag are by far the cheapest, with no noticeable difference in service quality or speed of arrival by their recovery team. It is actually a surprise to us why so many people still choose The RAC and The AA, their prices are usually 60%-70% more expensive than Green Flag on like for like cover. The RAC gladly gloat and on their website they say "Compare Our Prices" yet they only compare to The AA. Which is hardly surprising when you consider that Green Flag is the real price king. Green Flag don't have a comparison or comparable cover for level 2 and 4. Looking at their top cover shows you it's over £50 cheaper. The RAC may not want to compare prices but we will, take a look at the table below to see clearly the difference in prices;
